You will be the ultimate judge in this France vs. England vs. China line up! This is the perfect case to help lift our spirits and embrace the festive season – it would also make a wonderful Christmas gift and conversation piece – whether that conversation may be at a gathered feast or via the webcam this year!

WINE 1: FRANCE
Champagne Brimoncourt Brut Régence

Chardonnay, Pinot Noir
Organically Farmed, Vegan Friendly
ABV: 12%
RRP 32.99

Maison Brimoncourt is a premium boutique champagne house – an old name relaunched and reinvigorated by a charismatic new owner Alexandre Cornot since 2008, to create a champagne that embodies modern refinement. Brimoncourt champagnes are popped from the Élysée Palace to Château de Versailles; from 67 Pall Mall to Plaza Montreal…

This is an elegant and classy Champagne, with an enticing nose of brioche, peaches and cream, red and green apples and citrus fruits. The palate has a good level of crispness and brightness, leading to a super-long mouthfeel – yum and moreish!

WINE 2: ENGLAND
Tickerage Classic Cuvee Brut

Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier
11% ABV
RRP: £28.50

They say good things come in small packages. Just 5,000 bottles of this hand-crafted wine were made from this gem of a 5-acre vineyard in East Sussex.

The wine has a complex, yeasty nose with aromas of stewed apples, plums, damsons and cranberry. In the mouth, the acidity is lively, but complemented by flavours that have developed with yeast ageing. Honeyed, round, layered and rich, we think Tickerage is among the real gems in the English wine scene.

WINE 3: CHINA
Chateau Sungod Blanc de Blancs 2006

Chardonnay
ABV 12%

This wine was made in 2006 for the 2008 Beijing Olympics and served at state functions. It is a rare example of vintage sparkling wine from China.

Chateau Sungod is a premium estate winery owned by COFCO Great Wall, in Shacheng, Hebei province.

This wine has an attractive lemon colour. Having had 10 years of lees aging, it displays rich patisserie aromas as well as fresh fruity characters of pear and pomelo. The palate is fine, delicate and refreshing.

We are offering this truly unique mixed case of sparkling wines for £89 (including FREE UK P&P).
